National Conference on Operations & Fulfillment

The National Conference on Operations & Fulfillment (NCOF) just announced their 2010 even will be held in April 19-22 in Orlando Florida.  Our Georgia Fulfillment Center will be attending next year.

The 2009 conference program featured a full day of workshops on Monday, including an onsite tour of Zappos.com’s contact center in Henderson, NV. The sessions were well-received with conferees coming away with new ideas on Systems, Contact Center Satisfaction, Carrier Selection, Distribution Cost Savings, International Opportunities, and order fulfillment services. 

There were plenty of networking opportunities with several receptions and luncheons held during the event. First-Timers met up with their Mentors at the First Timer’s Reception on Monday evening. And each night the exhibit hall closed with a cocktail reception.

Although attendance was significantly lower than 2008, the majority who attended indicated that they left with at least 2 new ideas to implement in their business to either cut costs or improve efficiency – or both!
